Est. 1988·Sparrow Hall, Scrayingham, York
The terms that apply when you buy LPG, gas cylinders and related services from us.
These terms apply to the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), gas cylinders and related services by Rectory Gas Supplies, Sparrow Hall, Scrayingham, York YO41 1JE (company registration number 03780708, VAT number GB 500831393) (“we”, “us”, “our”) to business customers (“you”). Please read them carefully. Your individual supply agreement may contain further terms; if there is any conflict, your supply agreement takes priority.
These terms, together with any quotation, order confirmation or supply agreement we give you, form the contract between us. By placing an order you accept these terms. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
Our switching offer is available to bulk commercial customers only, with a minimum usage of 20,000 litres per year. Where you move your bulk LPG supply to us from another supplier, we will cover the outgoing supplier’s tank uplift fees up to a total value of £1,000. This is paid as credit on your Rectory Gas Supplies customer account and is not paid in cash. We may ask to see your outgoing supplier’s invoice for the uplift fee. The offer is subject to us agreeing to supply you and may be changed or withdrawn for new applications at any time.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or production, and our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for that order.
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, supply shortages, industrial action or failures of third parties. We will tell you as soon as possible and do what we reasonably can to reduce the impact.
How either of us can end a supply agreement, including any notice period, is set out in your supply agreement. We may suspend or end supply if you do not pay, if continuing supply would be unsafe, or if you seriously breach these terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you have any questions about these terms, call 01759 371 305, email info@rectorygassupplies.co.uk or write to us at Sparrow Hall, Scrayingham, York YO41 1JE.
