Our LPG solutions
Whether you get through a few cylinders a month or run a site that needs a tank full of gas, we’ll set up the supply that fits how you work.
The problems we solve
Most businesses only think about their LPG when something goes wrong. These are the problems we hear about most from businesses who move to us.
A tank that runs dry during harvest, a cold snap or a busy service costs far more than the gas itself.
How we help: Our bulk tanks are remotely monitored at no extra cost, so we can see your levels and plan a top-up before you run low.
Call centres, ticket numbers and a different person every time you ring.
How we help: You call our office near York and talk to a small team who know your account, your site and how you use gas.
Quotes full of extras, or a price that creeps up without anyone explaining why.
How we help: We give you a clear quote for your usage and site, and we’re happy to talk it through. Fair prices are one of the reasons customers stay.
Grain drying, poultry placements, winter heating and summer trade all change how much gas you need.
How we help: Flexible top-ups and regular cylinder deliveries are planned around your busy periods, not a fixed timetable.

What our customers say
★★★★★
4.8 out of 5 Google customer rating
I have been purchasing from Rectory Gas for almost 20 years. They are a friendly company and their service has always been impeccable. I would recommend them to anyone.
Mrs McWilliam, Bishop Wilton
“A five-star rated, independent company with customer service, reliability and competitive pricing which never failed me in the 12 years that I have been a loyal customer. Liam Milner, who in recent years has taken over the reigns, has ensured that whether ordering by e-mail, phone or text, the efficient staff have processed without delay. The various payment methods accommodate those who prefer online banking or a more traditional form of transaction. I would strongly recommend Rectory Gas Supplies.”
Mrs Cawthorne, Farlington
As a business, we much prefer to deal with other local, family-owned businesses, where you can put a face to the name and excellent customer service comes as standard, so Rectory Gas Supplies was a natural choice.

FAQs
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our team is happy to help.
It mostly depends on how much gas you use and how steady your demand is. Cylinders suit lower or occasional use, portable equipment and sites without room for a tank. A bulk tank suits steady or high use, such as heating, crop drying or a busy kitchen, and saves you handling and changing cylinders. Our guide to what LPG is and how it’s supplied explains the difference, or we can recommend the right option as part of your quote.
Yes. Our bulk customers get flexible top-ups and remotely monitored tanks at no extra cost, so we can keep an eye on your gas levels and plan your deliveries. How refills work.
Most of our cylinder orders are delivered the same or next working day. If you use cylinders regularly, we can also set up a repeat delivery pattern. See gas cylinder delivery.
Yes. We’ll look at your current arrangements, including any tanks and contract terms, and explain your options. If you’re a bulk commercial customer, we’ll cover the outgoing supplier’s tank uplift fees up to a total value of £1,000, paid as credit on your customer account. Terms apply. How switching works.
