York and the Vale of York
Your local supplier, just east of the city.
Our depot at Scrayingham is on the eastern side of York, close to Stamford Bridge. York businesses are about as local to us as it gets.
Most of central York is on mains gas, but the picture changes quickly once you head into the Vale of York. Villages, farms and business parks around the city often rely on LPG for heating, hot water and production.
York’s visitor economy also means plenty of hotels, restaurants, cafés and venues, in the city and out in the surrounding countryside. Those that are off the grid, or use cylinders for outdoor dining and events, need gas they can count on.
Send us your site postcode and we’ll confirm whether we can supply bulk LPG, cylinders or both.

Customer reviews
I have been purchasing from Rectory Gas for almost 20 years. They are a friendly company and their service has always been impeccable. I would recommend them to anyone.
Mrs McWilliam, Bishop Wilton
“A five-star rated, independent company with customer service, reliability and competitive pricing which never failed me in the 12 years that I have been a loyal customer. Liam Milner, who in recent years has taken over the reigns, has ensured that whether ordering by e-mail, phone or text, the efficient staff have processed without delay. The various payment methods accommodate those who prefer online banking or a more traditional form of transaction. I would strongly recommend Rectory Gas Supplies.”
Mrs Cawthorne, Farlington
As a business, we much prefer to deal with other local, family-owned businesses, where you can put a face to the name and excellent customer service comes as standard, so Rectory Gas Supplies was a natural choice.
