Commercial bulk LPG for businesses that can't afford to run out.

A tank on your site, monitored remotely and kept topped up by our own team, so your gas supply looks after itself while you run the business.

Business supply

Gas supply that fits your operation.

Commercial bulk LPG is gas stored in a tank at your premises and refilled by tanker. It suits businesses whose gas use is steady or high enough that changing cylinders would be a chore.

Every commercial site is different. A grain store needs a lot of gas for a few weeks of harvest; a hotel kitchen needs gas every day of the year; a factory may run heating, process burners and forklifts from the same supply. We plan your tank, monitoring and deliveries around the way your business actually uses gas.

What you get with Rectory

  • Remotely monitored tanks and flexible top-ups at no extra cost

Why businesses move to us

The problems a good supplier should solve.

Unplanned run-outs

Production stops, rooms go cold and kitchens close when a tank runs dry.

How we help: Remote monitoring lets us see your levels and plan deliveries before you run low.

Demand that changes through the year

Harvest, winter heating and seasonal trade all push gas use up and down.

How we help: Flexible top-ups mean deliveries follow your demand, not a rigid timetable.

Being one account among thousands

Big suppliers can be hard to reach and slow to sort problems out.

How we help: We’re family-run and local. You talk to people who know you, Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.

Unclear costs

It is hard to budget when you don’t understand what you are paying for.

How we help: A clear quote for your site and usage, and a team happy to explain it.

FAQs

Commercial bulk LPG questions.

What businesses ask before moving to bulk LPG.

If you use gas every day, or in large amounts at certain times of year, bulk LPG is usually more practical than cylinders. If your use is light or occasional, commercial cylinders may suit you better. We’ll give you an honest recommendation.

Your site postcode, what you use gas for, roughly how much you use (past invoices help), and whether you already have a tank. If you are switching, tell us who supplies you now and when your contract ends.

Yes. Tanks must be positioned at safe distances from buildings, boundaries and sources of ignition, following LGUK Codes of Practice, with access for our tanker. Below-ground tanks can help where space or appearance is a concern. See LPG tanks.
